daddy has to go to work now

We found out Friday that it was time for Taylor to deploy. It was a shock because he wasn't supposed to until next year but things got switched and it's time for him to go. He leaves in May for Kuwait. He should be back in October. Luckily, he is going to a safe base with some fast food! I was so bummed when he told me, I was waiting for him to say "just kidding" but he never did. I always imagine in my head that this time would never come but it did and it came way to fast. I keep trying to tell myself that it isn't that bad. Tanner and I enjoyed ourselves while he was in basic and this shouldn't be any different. We have not decided on weather or not I am going to say in San Antonio for the time. I don't want to leave what we have here. I have great friends who are pretty much family, but I could go home and be with my family. We have a lot of figure out before he leaves but I guess we have a little while to figure it out.

Baby, I love you the whole wide world! You are my hero!

I'm Haley. I'm a wife, mother, and photographer. I have a loving family and wonderful friends. I have a little boy who lights up my world & I am very lucky to have an amazing husband who will do anything to make me happy. I live in San Antonio, Texas. Photography is my passion! I eat sleep and breath photography. My camera & Mac are my most important possessions. I've read the Twilight Saga 3 times. I have a strong opinion of movies and music. I've been told I am stubborn and spoiled. I am learning to walk in heals. I am obsessed with shopping for my son. I don't cook or clean. I have a border collie named Dexter. I want to adopt. I am 21.

My son Tanner was diagnosed with Alpha 1 a little over a year ago. When he was 9 months we went in for his well baby and the doctor noticed his liver was enlarged and centered. He was in the hospital for about a week, he had several needles stuck and poked into him, and a handful of CT scans. Right before his 1st birthday he was diagnosed with Alpha 1, which they figured out through blood work. After that we scheduled a biopsy of his liver to confirm. He defiantly try to get out of getting the biopsy by getting sick over and over again! After rescheduling 3 times he finally had it done and the biopsy confirmed he has Alpha 1. It was hard to see my child go through this but I'd say Taylor and I did a pretty good job at staying strong. As far as dealing with Alpha 1 he goes in for blood work every 6 months and so far so good!
