Tanner's Evaluation

Tanner's speech evaluation went really well. He was interested in what they wanted him to do and rocked all the test. He was average/above average on all of the skills. He just doesn't say as many words as he should be at 25 months. He has a good foundation to learn more words. They all (3 ladies who did the evaluation) said that he was really smart for his age. They were shocked by his iphone skills. One said he is going to be smart one so I should watch out. They said he has already tried to out smart me by declining my calls when he is on my phone. He actually surprised me yesterday! He knows all of his colors and I have no idea! I knew he know red and blue but not Red Blue Green Yellow Purple and Orange!! He must have learned it from the games on my phone and Mickey Mouse.

They are planning on coming weekly to work with him on his speech. I'm sure he is going to love it!! He loved be the center of attention!

I'm Haley. I'm a wife, mother, and photographer. I have a loving family and wonderful friends. I have a little boy who lights up my world & I am very lucky to have an amazing husband who will do anything to make me happy. I live in San Antonio, Texas. Photography is my passion! I eat sleep and breath photography. My camera & Mac are my most important possessions. I've read the Twilight Saga 3 times. I have a strong opinion of movies and music. I've been told I am stubborn and spoiled. I am learning to walk in heals. I am obsessed with shopping for my son. I don't cook or clean. I have a border collie named Dexter. I want to adopt. My son Tanner was diagnosed with Alpha 1 a little over a year ago. When he was 9 months we went in for his well baby and the doctor noticed his liver was enlarged and centered. He was in the hospital for about a week, he had several needles stuck and poked into him, and a handful of CT scans. Right before his 1st birthday he was diagnosed with Alpha 1, which they figured out through blood work. After that we scheduled a biopsy of his liver to confirm. He defiantly try to get out of getting the biopsy by getting sick over and over again! After rescheduling 3 times he finally had it done and the biopsy confirmed he has Alpha 1. It was hard to see my child go through this but I'd say Taylor and I did a pretty good job at staying strong. As far as dealing with Alpha 1 he goes in for blood work every 6 months and so far so good!
