What a month it has been!
Last month Taylor came home from Kuwait and we got right back into the swing of things. A few weeks after he got home we had to start packing for our month long vacation to South Carolina, Bahamas, & Georgia. Packing was ridiculous! From bathing suits to winter coats!
After spending a few days in SC visiting and dropping Tanner off we flew to Baltimore where Taylor's aunt picked us up & it was snowing! We got a quick tour of DC and spent the evening visiting with them. The next day, the day we left for our cruise, we went out for lunch in Baltimore & went by Charm City Cakes!
The cruise was a blast! I wish we could have just video taped the whole trip! There were so many great memories! Taylor's friend from Kuwait, Stuart and his wife Kristine also came on the cruise. I think we slept in until noon each morning and stayed up until 4am each night! The food was just disgusting so we would go to dinner, complain about how bad the food is & then sometime after midnight we would end up at the 24 hour pizza place! There was a dance club called Beauties (which was by for the worst name for that place) & almost every night was Michael Jackson night. The last night we were the only white people on the dance floor! I was walking off the dance floor and Taylor was following me when he got sandwiched in between two black girls who started dancing all over him. Now I know I probably should have been mad that two girls just threw themselves on him but it was by far one of the funniest things I've ever seen!

The day before the Bahamas we stopped in Cocoa, Florida. We went by the Ron Jon Surf Shop, took a nap at Coco Beach, went to lunch & had hot wings (which was the best food we had since getting on the ship), and then decided to go back to the ship early because we ran out of things to do.
We spent two days in the Bahamas, the first day was spent in Nassau. We didn't have any excursions planned for that day so we took a fairy to the Paradise Island and walked about 2 miles and then through the Atlantis resort to get to the beach. We spend maybe an hour at the beach and the made the 2 mile walk back to the fairy.
Atlantis
Most expensive house on the island - a James Bond movie was filmed here
The second day in the Bahamas we stopped in Freeport. We got up super early and went to play with dolphins! We were able to get in the water with the dolphins and got a picture with him giving us a kiss. I am in love with dolphins so I was in heaven! We only had time for our dolphin excursion that day so as soon as we were done we had to rush back to the ship.
We were sad to leave our cruise but very happy to see Tanner again!
Christmas was a blast. Tanner knew what was in the presents this year so he was very excited about opening all of them! I think his favorite was his putter and putting green! He loves golf and is surprisingly good at it. I think we are going to get him into golf as much as possible since he could play this sport no matter what his health is like.
& everything else was Cars themed! He loves the movie cars and loves playing with cars!
